More conference...

I will be the first to admit that it appears we are having too much fun, and yes, I think we were. This is after the eco-auction dinner (with lots of free wine) last night and a bunch of us went out to a pub. On the left is Mary Ann from Whistler, I have no idea who the guy is, and of course the three Caymanians. Dinner tonight with Jenn and Nic (can't wait!) and then to Whistler all day tomorrow. Early Friday morning flight to Kelowna where it is way too cold.

Vancouver

Opening reception at the conference and we have already made friends with some Canadians and a Costa Rican! Eleven of us went out for sushi afterwards and then for "a glass" of wine... late night, that's all I will say! Miss my four snugglers! Loving Vancouver.

Football

Today was Hunter's first football game and he was goalie. His team did well at first but let him down in the second half as the heat took its effect. He made some good saves but his team eventually lost to the better Prospect Primary team. He came away from the experience quite proud of his work and enjoyed the game, that is after all what its all about.
Off to Canada tomorrow, can't wait to see my family and friends.

Cloudy Sunday

Just another day on the boat, but a cloudy one and that definately reduced the numbers of boats and people at Rum Point. Fine with us; Jenn, Selda and me.
Someone said the water was cold so we jumped in!
It wasn't cold at all and we stayed in the water far too long throwing the aerobee and chit-chatting.
We then headed off to explore the new marina and see the Earthrace boat. But it finally started to rain so we headed in from another enjoyable day. Great company, good food and drinks, who needs perfect weather?

Rum Point..again

Thunderstorms and even a water-spout in town,
but sunny and hot at Rum Point!

Enough said.

House Warming Party

We had a Toga/Games Night/House warming party Saturday night. Here King Rex awaits his queen (Dolly) in his Kristensen-designed toga!
The ladies prepare for the evening in their Kristensen-designed togas.
Not everyone wore a toga :-( , and mine was my own creation.
But we had fun...
In the end, it was just me and my best friend, his toga long since lost!

Football!

Hunter and classmates prepare for football practice. He now does football Monday and Wednesdays and Hayley starts Netball this week.

Cupcakes

Is there any point in trying to get in shape? I am being sabotaged every step of the way! Oh, and please take no notice of the closet in the background! :-)
I come home from work to find my chefs busy baking Halloween cupcakes! Thank goodness Granny and Granddaddy came by to help eat them up!~

Just another manic Sunday.

With this bunch on board, it was good the police were near at hand!
We had lots of fun in the water for hours. Maybe a bit too much sun but there is only one Sunday in the week.
Yes, a Kokanee and Melissa's glasses. Do they suit me? I hope so because I lost mine! Just another Sunday but oh what a beautiful day it was.
